Andorra - Skiing!

First things first when we get to Andorra - Duty Free Shopping!!!

Those damm lemons! They're everywhere!

The altitude isn't the only thing that's high...

Peg's second for the evening (Dad - this was AU$100 for 4.5 litres, stomach pump not included)

The tonic is on ice, the Bombay was 9 euros, apparently they do a little bit of skiing here too.

Lunch after a hard day's ski school

Beer after a hard day's ski school. I think that means it's the end of school for the day.

Before a hard day's ski school. Our shins and muscles were already feeling the pain of those ski boots.

Peg in all her garb. We lucked upon a ski sale in October - and thank goodness we did!

Peg's first snow angel!

Two angels in the snow! ...well, one anyway.

The beginner slopes. They looked huge on Day 1, paltry on Day 3. It still cruelly claimed Drew.

Having a rest in the sun mid-piste.

As you can tell, we were mid-way to being piste ourselves! (You really didn't expect us to leave out a "piste" joke, did you?)

These plastic shovels in our hands are actually bum boards...

No brakes, no steering, no control = lots of fun! (and bruises)

We put the strawberry champagne (that cost 1 euro) in the fridge (read: snow) and had champagne on ice not too long after! Apparently, Drew thinks it's way too sweet! Peg thinks it tastes like strawberry jam! Yum!

Like a true snow worshipper, Peg is out in the snow avec crutches (and painkillers) post tearing those pesky ligaments. Who needs ligaments anyway, really?

Peg loves the snow!

It snowed every day that we were in Andorra. This is the town centre of Pas de la Casa, the resort town where we stayed. Even in a destination specifically catering for snow, it still caused havoc on the streets. We loved it. We wanted to go bum boarding again.

The main piste in Pas de la Casa, aka motorway.

Drew limbering up after our strict dietary lunch (best hamburgers ever) ready for another bash at the piste, sans Peg :-(

Peg's view of Pas de la Casa for a couple of days
