Portsmouth to London

Sue Poustie and Drew in Portsmouth. She and Rod are our surrogate UK parents. They introduced us to Strictly Come Dancing (The UK version of Dancing with the Stars). Go Colin!!!

Rod groovin' it up, Peg dying Camille's hair, and Sue, just off camera, dancing. A perfect Sunday evening!

After Camille had hair dye lathered through her haid, she decided to headbutt Drew several times. Luckily it wahsed out.

Do you find it hard to believe Peg, Drew and Camille drank a litre of Gin this night??? It's so cheap here! The Pousties are a bad influence too! On a school night!

Peg and Camille celebrating a successful hair colouring job.

Peg outside the houses of Parliament. 'nuff said.

Try flipping this if you will. One of those arty on-the-side-type photos. We like it.

Very tall. We like this one too. Otherwise we wouldn't have put it on here.

Drew and Big Ben in the background. This is all around the corner from our hotel. Everywhere we have stayed so far has been very central.

An eyeful of the Eye.

Westminster Abbey at sunset.

Big Ben also at sunset.

Whitstable et alia...

Chillham castle, which is apparently owned by a guy who invented flexi betting on the internet in the UK. Mick Jagger was going to buy it, however the residents voted him off the island. Probably the coldest place we have been thus far (Day 3)

More Chillham. Cute little town near Whitstable, where we stayed with Drew's Godmother, Frances. Quite a nice town.

Self-photo of Camille and Frances, by Camille! This was at a pub called "The White Horse". It was a typical English pub, in the typical English countryside... run by a Scot. Was mildly offended when Pauline asked him what he wore under his "Skirt"!

Charming siblings in a charming pub! This is in Canterbury, a walled city and the home of the Archbishop of the Church of England. Shame, he was too busy to meet us that day. I hear he makes a mean cup of tea. His loss, really...

Camille and Peg having a hi-larious conversation!

The cathedral in Canterbury, complete with Christmas tree! How lovely.

The cathedral somehow seems a bit out of place next door to a Starbucks and an Internet Cafe...

Its a bit froggy in Whitstable at sparrow's fart when Drew makes us go for a walk.

(It's about 10am, by the way)

On our way to Dover in Camille's van (whose name is Rita May, by the way) to see the White Cliffs.

First (eva) self timed photo with bona-fide White Cliffs in the foreground! Yeah!

Camille bravely piloting the faithful Rita May back to Whitstable.

They haven't seen each other in 2 years, and this is how they treat each other.

And they're how old???

Us!

Drew and Peg in Brighton... how sweet...
