Camping in Edinburgh in SUMMER!

Drew was very excited to receive a gift from Mum Griffiths, consisting entirely of "imported" Australian Darrel Lea licorice!!!

Not much needs explaining here. We were late, so missed the opening act. The people we had to barge past to get to our seats weren't too pleased to see us. Crazy show- only thing in London to start on time!

Ken specifically insisted "No singing me 'Happy Birthday' in the restaurant, or any candles or anything". Camille interpreted this as "Please bring me a cake and give me lots of attention", which included a cake with a candle. Poor Ken.

Mmmm, Wheatgrass Juice... First ever time. Let's see how we go...

As you can see, Drew didn't mind it, but Peg thought it was absolutely disgusting, and couldn't care less about the recommended "Five-a-day".

Wheatgrass in its natural habitat. Its only known predator is the hippie.

Carrying on a proud Luks tradition of popping Easter Egg foil. Try it.

Thought we'd duck on up to Newcastle. Not Newcastle with beaches and sun and surf and good things... Newcastle Upon Tyne, England! The real Newcastle's historical namesake.

Camping... Scotland style!!! You read right- it is Summer!!! Peg vouches she has never been this cold in her entire life, however Drew remembers a certain morning standing outside of Stanstead airport in December at -10 degrees. Drinking hot tea was better than cold beer. Although we did force ourselves to keep hydrated on the beers.

Chris, Peg, Emile, Ally. Peg didn't leave her post very often. Loch Rannoch was our location.

Peg emerging from the shelter. When nature called, we battled against it for as long as we could.

There wasn't much movement at the station for most of the weekend, unless it was a move to throw another sausage on the barbie!

Sunshine!!! Drew attempting a Beckham Banana kick from the beach. However, similarly to England, it was all over before it had begun.

Fence. To keep the mutton in. Luckily for them our sausage supply held out for the weekend.

This photo doesn't show it that well, but there is snow on them thar mountains.

View across Loch Rannoch. This was our weather forecast. Way more accurate than the weather man.

Did have some beautiful sunsets.

Time was around 11pm. Sun rose again about 4 hours later.

Ally and Chris asked if there was anything we particularly wanted to see in Scotland. We did want to see Castle Menzies- a castle on Drew's mum's side of the family- however we had no idea where it was. However it turns out it was 20 minutes from where we were camping, so we dragged our unwashed bodies through for a look at Drew's Castle. Despite Peg's vain attempts at free entry, the doorkeeper was unmoved by our plight. They had no idea who they were dealing with.

Even Drew's ancestors were cyclists! Didn't find any 18th century Lycra though.

Drew's ballroom. Where he holds his balls.

A view out to Drew's countryside. We were almost mobbed when we leaned out the window and told our farmers to work harder.

Drew coming down from one of his turrets.

Drew's very proud of his castle. Peg can't wait to move in!
